The Serdivan Youth and Sports District Directorate’s Sports Club organizes a wide range of social and athletic events at the Serdivan Indoor Sports Hall. Annually, these include 50 national competitions, 10 international competitions, 100 local competitions, and an average of 3 concerts. Additionally, the hall hosts seminars, meetings, circuses, and shows.

Our sports activities span across 28 branches, encompassing disciplines such as canoeing, rowing, aikido, judo, wushu, weightlifting, fencing, swimming, basketball, handball, bodybuilding, air shooting, pilates, yoga, volleyball, boxing, tennis, table tennis, special education practices, chess, badminton, and taekwondo. In 2023, we had 6,452 licensed athletes, with plans to increase this number this year.

**Other Important Facilities:**

– Canoe Rowing Water Sports Facility: Situated in Serdivan, this facility is among Turkey’s premier water sports centers. Overlooking Sapanca Lake, it trains numerous world and European champion athletes in sailing, rowing, and canoeing. It serves as a focal point for Turkey’s leading sports clubs in these disciplines.

– Paragliding at Kırantepe: Attracts national and international “Paragliding Festivals” annually, drawing significant sports tourism to the region.
